Artist Statement

My art is inspired ultimately by my life, my personal experiences, and the world around me. I enjoy photography so I like to incorporate my own photos and use Photoshop to create and enhance a piece of artwork. I'm really inspired by travel and the world, so a lot of my work has to do with anything from the world as a whole to specific issues such as violence/peace, the environment, innocence, consumerism, and the wonders and pains of life itself. A lot of this has to do with me being raised in a multi-cultural household, where I developed such an awareness of the world we live in. Each person lives an individual, unique life; but such life issues, lessons, and goals are universal.
